NWOT Ikea rail & ledge ledge shelf with slide hooks

Discontinued NWOT Ikea long rail / ledge that has been painted to look like distressed wood and a set of color pegs (4 total). Other accessories not included.

In traditional Japanese houses the kamoi is a wooden rail that runs around the perimeter of the rooms that works primarily to hold the sliding doors and walls. This rail functions also as a small ledge where small objects can be stored and often from where clothes are hung. This secondary function is what inspired this system composed of a narrow ledge where small objects such as keys, envelopes or pictures can be placed or leaned on, and to which different accessories can be clipped on extending its functionality as coat hooks, small trays, plant holders or mirrors. Made from sustainably sourced bamboo with a powder-coated steel frame, they’re available in three colors - light green, dark red and white, and can be put together in any number of combinations.
