A beautiful handmade burden basket handmade by the White Mountain Apache here in Arizona. Legend says that if you hang this by the door, people can leave their burdens in the basket before they enter. Much larger versions were used once used for gathering food, and the jingles allowed gatherers to keep track of each other in the tall grasses. Excellent new condition. This size is also great for hanging from the rear view mirror. Please see the measurements in the photos.
